Back to work on Monday. To be honest, I am not focused today. But generally, I am enjoying working. I need to update my paper by the end of the week. I should read and revise several times. Then I also had some discussions online with scientists in Beijing. I had a great time, their science is looking great. I hope they can have a great outcome. I am happy to help with their work. I think I get used to doing this kind of experimental works now, I can do more experiments and advice. I am enjoying attending more scientific work. It will come more but I should watch my workload but generally, I am happy to do more. What is my competitive advantage? I think my expertise on usage of triple-axis spectrometer, I should stay in instrument and do more experiment and I should read more proposal my instrument and other triple-axis spectrometers in the world. By writing this, I just got an idea. There is a new cold triple-axis spectrometer in South Korea, I think I should collaborate with them to meet our user demands. Since their instrument is new, it is great to have new users. So, they can create more science. I might lose some demands for the short term, hopefully, we can get more science done with cold triple-axis spectrometer by involving more scientific research. I will start doing some tomorrow.
I am now doing a video game based on the three kingdom (三國時代). The game is always my favourite since I am a kid, it is a very old game that worked with Nintendo. Now, I could buy it online and play with my laptop. The game, although it is very simple, teaches me how to manage countries. I have some tendency how I am applying these experiences in real teams in real work or society. I am very careful to expand my territory and I like to grow very slowly but surely. Now I am having problems with the game, once my country becomes big, it is a very tough job just looking after the territory. I think a good general can watch in detail even the country is big. Let’s learn something from the game.
Anyways, today is just Monday, I have many things to do. We are in lockdown so I can’t go out much. But I should find something fun to doing something constructive for the future.
